OVERSEAS BAT PURCHASE WARRANTY
Congratulations on your choice of bat from Kingsgrove Sports Centre, the most experienced bat selling business with over 30 years of serving Social and Test Cricketers alike.
As a retailer it is our goal to please our customers no matter what. In times of bat breakages it is our role to act as an agent between our customer and the manufacturer. We ensure and guarantee the rights of the consumer whilst strictly upholding the legally bound policies of the manufacturer in order to keep all parties satisfied. We have done this with great success and that is why we have our great reputation for service.
Please understand that you are purchasing a product made of willow and due to the unpredictable nature of this material, problems can occur at anytime, thankfully not very often. If you think a bat should not break, you need to re-consider your purchase.
However, we hold all manufacturers to a legally bound one season warranty. This policy states that if a bat breaks within the first season of use, if repairable will be repaired under warranty and if deemed by the manufacturer as not repairable, then the bat will be replaced.
Bats for our overseas customers can be inspected for warranty by manufacturers using two methods.
-
Initially we can inspect photographic evidence which can be sent by email or post. Some companies can make a decision from the photos alone.
Or
-
You can post the bat back to us (at customers cost).
For any bats that are repaired or replaced, expense of postage back is the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately the manufacturer will not meet these costs.
Please rest assured that we will look after customers to the end and provide you with an after service second to none. The chance of your bat having problems is very minute but it can happen.
You can further minimize the chances of your bat breaking by
-
Following the “Knocking In and Preparations” document supplied by KSC.
-
Not using cheap, hard and nasty Indian style balls
-
Avoiding inaccurate play and misuse such as harsh edges and digging out Yorkers (easier said than done, we know!)
-
Avoiding moisture – Wood and water do not go well together.
As a responsible bat owner we thank you for taking the time to read this important document and wish you the best of luck when your new bat arrives.
Kingsgrove Sports Centre looks forward to hearing of your success.
Yours in cricket,
Stuart Aley
