2008 Queenstown New Zealand; 2010 Harrogate, England

Adelaide for a great week of “Fun, Friendship & Fraternity”

All you need to know

Festival Costs
There are three components of the costs for the festival

1.  Festival package
    (Note, package is set by the Golden Oldies Secretariat and is payable by all Festival participants)

The two teams will have accommodation at a good hotel in central Adelaide

Festival Package
Cost per person: $1,985 twin share or double room
Single Supplement: To be advised

Included in this cost are the following components-

o    Seven nights accommodation at the team hotel
o    Transfers to all games and Festival functions
o    Three cricket matches per team - all ground costs covered, lunches at grounds
o    Three Festival social functions -  including food, drinks (wine & beer) and   entertainment
      Welcome Party – three hour function following the Opening Ceremony
      The Great Golden Oldies Festival Picnic Day  - see details on programme
      Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony – 5 hour event with 3-course meal, beer, wine & entertainment
o    Parade and Opening Ceremony
o    Festival Souvenir (item yet to be confirmed)
o    “Caught Short” Festival Newspaper (four issues);  . . . . and more.

2.  Extras
•    Team Uniform – Official Team Uniform for the Opening Ceremony plus Team playing clothes.
Part sponsored by Kingsgrove Sports $100 pp
•    Administration Fee to cover Team rego plus extras $20 pp

3.  Flights to Adelaide: It's up to you to book your flights and with so much notice you could get some good deals.  Or you might like to drive down and take a longer holiday.
