Day 1 Sunday 8th August
Teams arriving in Harrogate or have arrived day before in readiness for the Opening Ceremony.
Late Afternoon Opening Ceremony & Parade at Ripley. Welcome Cocktail Party at Teakston Brewery at Masham (www.theakstons.co.uk)
Day 2 Monday 9th August
First match day with transfers to/from grounds. Optional tour options for non-playing members. Hospitality after your match at your Cricket Club venue.
Day 3 Tuesday 10th August
The Great Golden Oldies Cricket Festival Picnic Day at Ripley Castle
Day 4 Wednesday 11th August
Second match day with transfers to/from grounds. Optional tour options for non-playing members. Hospitality after your match at your Cricket Club venue.
Day 5 Thursday 12th August
Day of leisure to spend time exploring Harrogate and the surrounding area. Optional tours will be available
Day 6 Friday 13th August
Third match day with transfers to/from grounds. Optional tour options for non-playing members. Hospitality after your match at your Cricket Club venue.
Day 7 Saturday 14th August
Day of leisure before the evening event
Gala Dinner & Air New Zealand Awards Ceremony - Majestic Hotel, Harrogate
Day 8 Sunday 15th August
Departure day transfers to Airport or continue with optional tours and sightseeing.
Cricket Grounds
We have been told that all the grounds to be used for the Festival matches will belong to Clubs which are members of the Nidderdale league and situated close to Harrogate.
