Kingsgrove Sports Sponsor VICTOR TRUMPER DAY
Kingsgrove Sports is honoured to be involved in helping Sydneysiders and cricket tragics alike travel back to a time time when Victor Trumper was "The Man" of Australian Cricket. "This event will be a cricketing festival with a twist and personally I'm really looking forward to using the replica equipment from Victor Trumper's actual era," said former Wiggles frontman, Greg Page. Greg will be taking part in the celebratory Twenty/20 game to be played at the SCG. Kingsgrove Sports Centres very own Hamish Solomons will also be playing in the game which is just one of the many highlights of the day long festival on Sunday November the 2nd. With interactive software it's easy for skippers to organise their team, as fixture reminders are automatically sent out to the squad. They have over 240 teams playing around the world and could soon be the biggest amateur cricket league in the world.
